The Wave Machine

The Wave Machine is the musical project of Cornwall-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Angus Trott, blending live-looped guitar, bass, trumpet, percussion and vocals into a laid-back “beach-rock” sound inspired by the rhythms of the ocean.

Recognised by surf and coastal communities worldwide, his music has featured on popular surf playlists and radio shows. Angus has performed internationally, including a tour along Australia’s east coast, and has appeared at festivals including Henley Festival, Rock Oyster Festival, Tunes in the Dunes, St Ives Food Festival, Porthleven Food Festival, Falmouth Food Festival, Truro Food Festival, Paradhis Festival and Armchair Adventure Festival, as well as the Indian Motorcycle Rally.

After a busy summer festival season in 2025, Angus embarked on a UK tour with shows in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Bath and Newquay. Momentum has continued into 2026, with regular performances at beach bars, breweries and venues, alongside being featured in the Harley-Davidson Song Contest.

With a growing audience and a packed festival calendar including Tunes in the Dunes and Armchair Adventure Festival, The Wave Machine is now preparing for an even bigger UK tour in October 2026, travelling the country on his Royal Enfield motorbike.
